I am regularly called upon by international organizations and national governments to provide expert advice and policy input. For example, I am an expert member of the World Trade Organization’s Gender Research Hub, Global Affairs Canada’s Gender and Trade Advisory Group and the GBA+ Sub-Committee. I regularly appear before Canadian House of Commons Standing Committees and I have provided training and consultation to Members of Parliament in the UK and Canada. I also convene multi-stakeholder policy dialogue in various international fora, provide expert research to non-governmental organizations such as the Women’s Budget Group and serve as a NGO representative at the biannual World Trade Organization Ministerial Conference, the highest-level decision-making body of the organization.
